President, magnolia (ga)
chapter of the links, incorporated
Greetings and welcome from our president

As the 10th President of the Magnolia (GA) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated, it is my honor to welcome you to our chapter website.

The Magnolia (GA) Chapter is the third oldest chapter in the metro-Atlanta area. The chapter was chartered in March 1991 with a commitment to grow connections and friendships among like-minded women. Today, the chapter is home to more than 90 active members, representing various civic and professional organizations. These women are leaders in education, law, medicine, media, business, philanthropy, nonprofits, and entrepreneurship.

Magnolia (GA) Chapter Link sisters strive to impact the Atlanta community through service. Through our dedication to deepening chapter relationships, we work, together, to transform our community - while epitomizing The Links’ belief that we are “friends who serve together.”

As one of the nation’s oldest volunteer service organizations, The Links, Incorporated sets programming for each of the 299 chapters to follow.  Magnolia (GA) Chapter is one of six metro-Atlanta chapters and is in the Southern Area.

Our programs fall under five facet themes: The Arts, Health & Human Services, International Trends & Services, National Trends & Services, and Services to Youth.

Under our Services to Youth facet, we are proud to have a longtime partnership with the Coretta Scott King Women’s Leadership Academy since the school’s inception. The academy is the only single gender, STEM-certified school serving 6-12 grades in Georgia. Under our “Magnolia Stars” program, our chapter has mentored three cohorts of girls through graduation. Currently, the chapter is actively engaged with the fourth cohort, expected to graduate in 2026.

Thank you, again, for visiting our website to learn more about our chapter. Please come back often for timely information on our chapter, programs, events, and ways you can support the work we do.

In friendship, service, and love,

Shelley
