PRESIDENT, MAGNOLIA (GA) CHAPTER OF THE LINKS, INCORPORATED

D'ANN GRIFFIN

Greetings from The Magnolia (GA) Chapter of the Links, Incorporated!

Through Friendship and Service, The Links, Incorporated is one of the nation’s oldest and largest volunteer service organization, comprised of professional women committed to enriching, sustaining, and improving the lives of others. We, the Magnolia Links have been serving and strengthening communities in the greater Atlanta area for more than 28 years.

The Magnolia (GA) Chapter focuses its efforts on five facets, which include: Services to Youth, National Trends and Services, International Trends and Services, The Arts and Health and Human Services.

  • Through our Services to Youth facet, we support, from its inception, The Coretta Scott King Young Women’s Leadership Academy (CSKWYLA), which is the only 6-12 single gender STEM certified school in GA. One of our exemplary initiatives, is our Magnolia Stars, which is an enrichment and mentoring program for girls attending CSKWYLA. We congratulate this esteemed school for its’ 100% graduation rate which recently earned recognition on “The Good Morning America” show. The support of the Carrie Steele Pitts Home is another strong initiative of the Magnolia Links, Inc.

  • Through our National Trends and Services, we continue to focus on the impact of human trafficking and support agencies in the changing of laws and the move to eradicate ALL human trafficking

  • Through our International Trends and Services facet, we support schools in both Jamaica and Africa to improve learning and sanitary conditions, which earned recognition and a monetary grant at the Southern Area conference

  • Through The Arts and Health And Human Services, we expand educational opportunities and experiences for both the community and the chapter. The impact of our programmatic initiatives can be found on our website.

With sincere appreciation, the Magnolia Chapter of Links, Inc. would like to acknowledge and thank you for your support in our endeavors as we vigorously seek to cultivate and advance the lives of others. We encourage you to become one of our partners in service.

Yours in Friendship and Service,

Dr. D’Ann Griffin
